my first blogosophy

i will forever appreciate people who make those complicated things seem simple.

in the past month:

*i have spent hours researching lighting fixtures. STRESS. today i went to a lighting store and learned everything i need to know in 30 minutes.

*i have spent days thinking about how to support a glass wall. today i talked to the glass experts. AND it's the most obvious solution.

*i have spent months creating the perfect design for our bar. this week someone solved all my problems in a matter of minutes. i want those hours of my life back.


why do i do these things? because i think i know best.


but the bottom line is, i'll never change. i will always have to do the research myself to figure out that i don't know what i'm talking about. then i feel free to ask for help from someone who already understands it.

such is life...
